Gold Swan Candle Holder Gift Set | Diwali Gift with Votives

For the evening the moon is waited on. Karva Chauth falls on Thursday 29 October 2026, and this set is put together for the table where the fast is broken - and for husbands who would rather not be shopping on the day.

What's in the set

• 1 x Gold Swan Figurine Candle Holder Pair - two swans facing one another, each carrying a candle. Arrives in its own gift box, so it needs no wrapping.
• 1 x Orange Glass Votive Holder - warm amber light.
• 1 x Grey Glass Votive Holder - smoked grey, to balance the warmth.
• 2 x Brass Lotus Diya - for the puja thali.

Why the swans

A pair of swans is one of the older symbols of devotion between two people - swans are said to stay together for life, and in Indian iconography the hamsa carries associations of grace and discernment. They make the gift legible without a card having to explain it.

Setting the table

Place the swan pair centrally with the two votives flanking them at a lower height, and keep the brass diyas on the thali. Low, warm light photographs well and suits an evening that runs late.

Also right for

Anniversaries, engagements, and as a wedding gift. Nothing about the set is specific to one occasion beyond the pairing itself.

Care

Wipe the gold finish with a soft dry cloth - no abrasives. Glass votives can be washed by hand in warm water. Trim wicks to about 5mm and never leave a burning candle unattended.
