Mehak Brass Urli Signature Set - Statement Urli, Platter & Diyas

Our most substantial festive set, for the table everyone gathers around. If you host Diwali rather than attend it, this is the arrangement that carries a long table without needing anything added to it.

What's in the set

• 1 x Mehak Brass Urli Decorative Bowl - a large solid brass urli, the heaviest and most sculptural bowl we stock. Meant to be the object a room is arranged around.
• 1 x Metal Hammered Platter - Gold - a hand-hammered tray whose texture catches candlelight. Sits beneath or beside the urli.
• 4 x Brass Lotus Diya - arranged around the pair to draw the light along the length of the table.

Why this set works

Scale is the thing most festive tables get wrong - a scatter of small objects reads as clutter, while one large piece with supporting elements reads as intention. The Mehak urli has the weight to hold a room on its own; the hammered platter gives it a base and a second texture; the four diyas extend the arrangement outward without adding bulk.

Styling

Fill the urli with water, float marigold heads and three to five floating tealights. Set the hammered platter slightly off-centre beside it rather than directly underneath, and run the four diyas in a loose line down the table. After Diwali the urli holds beautifully as a dry sculptural bowl on a sideboard.

Care

Solid brass will darken with time and water contact. Empty and dry the urli after each use. Polish with a lemon-and-salt paste or brass polish when you want the brightness back, and dry completely. The hammered gold platter should be wiped with a soft dry cloth only - avoid abrasives on the finish.
